Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was a the morning news anchor as well as a crime reporter for WCBD-TV. Her articles from Charleston, about how the Charleston police acted in DUI cases with leniency led to an inquiry by State Law Enforcement Division.
